About Derek
I developed a keen interest in Martial Arts at the tender age of 9. Like many other young boys at the time, I started training in the art of Karate (Okinawan Goju Ryu)
In 1994 I started training in Traditional Chinese Martial Arts, Medicine, Acupuncture, Philosophy, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Meditation.
I graduated in 2016, after 22 years of learning, training and teaching Traditional Chinese Martial Arts and Medicine.
I have used my skill and knowledge to help hundreds of individuals with injury, disease and suffering.

Private tuition is far more focused on the individual than in a class training setting.
Often important information is lost during a class training setting, be it that the individual is too shy or afraid, embarrassed perhaps, to ask a question about the teaching.
In a private one on one teaching setting, it opens the door for the student to ask questions and get real answers.
Tui-Na and De Da are methods of massage and manipulation to restore the body. Developed by Martial Artists it forms the basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Along with Tai Chi and Qi Gong practices.
There is no language barrier as this is all practical based training. Look, follow, practice
