About Abhirami
I started my Carnatic Music journey from the age of 6 and learned lessons under various eminent teachers from Kerala and Delhi. I'm trained in Indian Classical Music for 8 years. I have been giving private tuitions for 2 years. I'm a graduate in Journalism(Hons) from Delhi University and currently pursuing my Master's degree in Sociology from Hyderabad Central University. I have done a Certificate foundation course on Carnatic Music from University of Hyderabad.

I focus on the practical classes along with the theory part to equip the students with knowledge on how to develop and improve their vocals to easily grasp the techniques of classical, semi-classical and light music singing.
For example, If I teach a varnam on a particular ragam I make sure the student recollects the gitams learned in the same ragam and the characteristics of the ragam. The semi-classical songs and filmsongs composed in the ragam will also be practiced to make it more interesting along with the Keerthanams.
The classes are intended for beginners regardless of age!
Will start with basic lessons of Swarams, Varisai, Gitam, Jathi, Swara jathi, Varnam and will move on to advanced lessons of Keerthanam, Thillana etc.
