About Catherine
I have been a trainer since 1999. In 20 years of experience, I have trained hundreds of students! I started teaching in England in schools for children aged 8-18, before moving to Thailand, where I taught adults and children - groups and individuals of all skill levels. I also taught English in Barcelona to university students, before moving to France in 2003. Since living in France, I have worked with several language schools and the Chamber of Commerce, before moving to France. 'set up as a freelance teacher in 2009. Currently, I teach business English in companies to small groups and individuals, and I give private English lessons to children. I also teach English exam preparation for PET / KET / FCE / IELTS.

I believe that you learn best when you are relaxed, interested and engaged. I am clear, consistent and organized in terms of lesson planning and execution, and I encourage students to always maximize their speaking time during lessons, and to provide follow-up activities related to their personal work. I teach using a communicative method, based on a real goal in each class. I work on oral and written comprehension and expression skills; I always adapt my lessons according to the learning style of the student. I believe it is important to make mistakes ... this is the only way we can learn to correct and improve our abilities.
