About Hannah

My software development background includes Computer Science studies at Michigan State University, where I explored programming logic, algorithmic thinking, and software design. I previously taught introductory computing courses at Henry Ford College, supporting students as they developed coding fundamentals and learned to solve technical problems independently.

One of my favorite activities is the “Debugging Journal.” Instead of immediately correcting a faulty program, students record what they expected, what actually happened, which clue revealed the problem, and how they fixed it. Over time, this turns debugging into a repeatable skill and helps students approach unfamiliar coding challenges with a developer’s mindset.

About the lesson

Programming is most rewarding when you can turn an idea into something that actually works. My Online Live Lessons cover Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, variables, loops, functions, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and debugging, depending on your level.

Lessons combine live coding demonstrations, guided challenges, code-reading exercises, and practical mini-projects. We can build a simple website, create an interactive quiz, automate a repetitive task, or strengthen the fundamentals required for college programming courses. I also provide support with coding homework, assignments, projects, and exam preparation, while making sure you understand the solutions you develop.
