** SPECIALISE: ENGLISH LITERATURE GCSE/A-LEVEL**
DEGREE COURSEWORK/DISSERTATION/THESIS EDITING.
I am a calm, approachable and organised tutor, able and willing to help with GCSE-A-Levels in English Literature, Geography and History, as well as Politics at Degree Level. I acknowledge that every individual has a different learning style, and therefore have a student-centred approach. My A-Levels are in English Literature (A*), Geography (A*) and History (A*) - where I gained full marks in my English Literature AS Level - and I gained a First Class MA (Hons) in Arabic and International Relations from the University of St. Andrews.
At university I was awarded the Pirie Prize for the best undergraduate essay in International Relations, and was also published in the Centre for Global Constitutionalism Junior Paper Working Series.
My approach would consist of thorough research into exam board specifications and marking criteria to ensure a thorough, goal centred approach to learning for exams and coursework. I believe that everyone is capable of excellent exam results when they are well equipped with the knowledge and skills required to get to the heart of exam specification!
I have experience working in secondary schools as a Cover Supervisor, as well as 1 to 1 tutoring, and multi-agency safeguarding for young people.

Ella has received good feedback having worked on a temporary basis from March 2022 to present June 2022. I can confirm there are no known issues with safeguarding or reasons why the candidate should not work with children. I can confirm this has been completed to the best of our knowledge.
Ella tutored my son in History and Geography on a number of occasions. I would highly recommend her.
She is organised, patient, extremely kind and helpful. My son really liked working with her - and responded very well to Ella's calm and directed tuition style. She combined making him feel confident and supported - with also encouraging him to challenge himself.
