About Yaacov
I have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cooper Union engineering school in New York City.
I've been tutoring for four years and have had many students at varying grade levels and subjects, all of whom have succeeded in their classes.
I also have classroom experience teaching math and science at the middle school level, and I always make sure to give each student personal attention to make sure they not only do well and understand the material, but feel valued, and hopefully enjoy the class too.

I specialize in tutoring high school level physics, algebra and calculus, but I have experience in all grade levels from 3rd to college as well was many types of math and physics.
As a tutor, I will do my best to ensure you not only understand the material, but can solve many types of problems.
We will first assess your understanding of the material, then I will ensure you deeply understand the material. After, we will work through problems together until you are able to do multiple of each type on your own.
I am happy to teach a subject in general or help you study for a scary upcoming exam or help you finish that homework that you've been having trouble with for a while.
