About Winfield

I have several years of in-person and online college studies, including engineering and math education. I have also taken many free online classes from major universities, focusing on higher math subjects and physics.

I have won math awards, was on the Dean's list in college, and I have passed the Praxis II exam qualifying me to teach math K-12 grades in Colorado.

I keep my pricing reasonable and I am devoted to helping my students succeed, at any grade level.

Aside from that I have been a performing singer/songwriter for most of my life. I am excited to hear from you and hopefully help you toward your success in school and life!

About the lesson

I have tutored locally in person and online for 8+ years. Students have included Elementary through College level. I am currently tutoring all math subjects and some physics, as well as some language arts. I am also experienced with SAT and ACT preparation.

Winfield Rose, whom I knew as Penrose, was employed as a tutor at my Mathnasium learning center for about two years. Penrose had a gentle and encouraging rapport with all of the students. He was always proactive with the students’ educational needs. Not to mention his math skills and knowledge are exemplary. Penrose always maintained a professional and kindly attitude, and was always someone I could trust. I regretted that I was no longer able to employ him due to the closing of our center. He has my highest recommendation.
