My tuition method is adaptable to the needs and main difficulties of each student. I like above all to help students and, during this process, to create a good friendship. As I always enjoyed helping colleagues during classes, I decided to apply so I could share my knowledge with more people. My aim is to help students to enhance their technical and social skills so they are able to succeed both in their academic and professional career. Many of the students I mentor go on to work as programmers and software development professionals, with others pursuing further study and careers in teaching and research.

I recommend João to explain programming. He helped me a lot in the work that I had to deliver. He always tries to get the student to try for himself to solve the problems and when the student can't, he gives clues and explains it step by step.
Very friendly and professional at the same time. Helped me several times with a programming project.
João is a tutor you can count on! he is always concerned about his students, during class time he always finds several different ways to teach if the student is having difficulty understanding something and if any doubts arise later he is always available to clarify, which shows the concern he has with his students and that he cares about their success.
João is an excellent tutor because he lets us think and do the exercise and then corrects mistakes in a very clear way! Also is really patient.
João has a very relaxed teaching style and can adapt to anyone's learning style too.
He has great knowledge of the subjects and he's an amazing person to keep you motivated to reach your goals!
João is an amazing tutor who helped me a lot to develop my programming skills. He was always very helpful and available to answer all my questions. His way of explaining is quite easy and simple to understand.
Since beginning my lessons with João I not only got up to date on the subject matter but also clearly understood hard concepts in a short time. He has a clear, dynamic and practical way of explaining subject matters. I recommend him for the great teaching and explaining ability, but also for his ability to connect different programming subjects to not only your level but to the relevant areas you are studying.
João is an amazing teacher. Im new in the language of Java but he made it seem really easy to learn, since the first lesson. He also makes sure the exercises are made to my level of knowledge. Thank you for the lessons João
João and I work next to each other in some days. He is extremely helpful and dedicated towards his students. I notice that he always tries to find a way to organize his schedule so that no one is left without help. I see him work, day after day, always committed to explain subjects in a simple and easy way to understand, as many times as necessary. He is very knowledgeable and has had excellent feedback from all the students who have him as a teacher. He really loves helping students overcome their difficulties, and that´s why i recommend him.
10/10 João is simply extraordinary not only in competence but also in his values. Someone i even became friends with! I highly recommend him and sincerely believe he is one of those rare persons who have the gift to help
João is a great tutor, you can tell that he likes what he does and can put anyone at ease. Super friendly and approachable! I highly recommend !

Great guy!Assertive, good speaker and, the most important for me, made coding look a fairytale :)
João is a great teacher. He is very patient and displays a deep knowledge regarding all the subjects that he teaches. I highly recommend him!
João, although not officially my teacher, is an attentive and helpful college colleague . He is a study buddy always eager to help. He explains the subjects clearly, with infinite patience, he never gets tired of repeating, in different ways, the subjects that weren't understood at first.
