About Adrienne
I have a degree in Special Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilities. I have been tutoring children and adults for the past 35 years. I try to gear my lessons to fit the students’ interests so that learning can be fun. I have tutored hundreds of students in the 35 years of my career and I have been 95% successful.

At first, I try to get to know my students. It is important to me to know what their interests are. I believe that learning should be FUN! I also use diagnostics so I know exactly what my students’ weaknesses are. I don’t want students to be bored or frustrated. The techniques that I use are choral responding, and games. Tutoring is not a one way street. Participation is STRONGLY encouraged. No question is a dumb question. I also try to improve my students’ self-esteem because many times low self-esteem is a big problem because of failure. Students need to believe that they can achieve!
