About Bhavana
Greetings!
I am Bhavana, a third year Biology (Kinesiology minor) student from the University of British Columbia. I am international student having completed IB with a 39 overall! My experience in tutoring children of age groups ranging 3-12 dates since May 2021. This skill set has been developed on with further interactions with students through being a UBC orientation leader and mentoring students with low apathy throughout the UBC CUBS organisation. My current GPA at UBC is above 3.1.
I am a determined university student aiming to get into the medical field with over two years experience working at a clinic as well!
Friendliness and respect is the environment of my class as I wish to make the student feel comfortable in their process of learning!
I hope to assist every student to my best potentials!

My hourly rate for the following listed subject is $35/h with preference to online (Zoom) lectures:
Biology (IB HL/BC curriculum/ up to 3 rd year university level)
Chemistry (IB HL/BC curriculum)
English (IB Lang. & Lit HL/ regular board)
Math (all grades to 12/ IB SL)
My classes comprise of focusing on what the student finds most challenging at first. Practice problem discussions using Google jam board, worksheets including active student participation. More emphasis will be laid on topics that students have tests for in upcoming days. I do not prefer to give homework to students below grade 7 however if homework helps the student I am able to provide questions!
All classes with me are guaranteed! Payment is done after at the end of every class. If the student is unhappy or unsatisfied with the outcome, the class is on me!
