About Adela
I’m a first-year UBC Sauder student with a strong academic background in math, earning a 5 in AP Calculus AB, a 4 in AP Calculus BC, and a 6 in IB Math AA HL. I have experience working with students from elementary to high school and understand how to adapt my teaching to different levels and learning styles. I’m passionate about helping students not only improve their grades, but also build confidence and genuinely enjoy learning math.

My classes are interactive and student-focused. Together, we will: 1. Build a strong conceptual foundation using clear explanations and extra materials beyond the textbook. 2. Practice regularly with tons of customized worksheets and review resources. 3. Make learning fun through math games and small awards to keep students motivated and engaged. Lesson Structure: The lesson would involve checking and reviewing practice questions, which would be given as homework. After going over basic concepts, and practice questions of the next chapter. All private practice questions would be given for homework so we do not waste class time, and I will provide review quizzes every month for review.
