About Emily

I began tutoring as my first job in middle school, focusing on helping younger children and non-native English speakers develop basic reading and writing skills. Over the years, I have expanded my expertise to include more advanced subjects, such as exam preparation, essay writing, and English proficiency for academic and professional purposes. I firmly believe that being a strong English speaker and writer is not an innate talent but a skill that can be practiced and refined. Writing, in particular, is a craft that benefits from structure and strategy. More often than not, a strong paper is one that follows a clear formula—one that effectively organizes ideas and communicates them with precision and confidence. My goal is to help students master these techniques and build the skills they need to express themselves effectively.

Whether you need help with schoolwork, exam preparation (SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), or improving your overall English skills, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
