About Fabian
I'm currently studying for my teaching degree in English and French. I have been giving tutoring lessons ever since school and I have always enjoyed it! It is a very rewarding feeling to see students improve - both for the student and for me as the teacher. In 2020 I was teaching English at a Gymnasium in Neukölln in a so called 'welcoming-class'. As the students were very committed and there was no curriculum, I was able to try out a lot of cool stuff with them. I hope to do the same in my German classes with you!
One more thing: I am a very eager language learner myself (currently Japanese), so I know a thing or two about learning a language. I know the struggles and how to support you, and I know a bunch of useful resources!

Ich studiere Englisch und Französisch auf Lehramt an der FU in Berlin. Bereits während meiner Schulzeit habe ich Nachhilfe in diversen Fächern gegeben und daran stets großen Spaß und Erfolg gehabt. 2020 habe ich an einem Berliner Gymnasium den Englischunterricht einer Willkommensklasse geführt und konnte so viele Eindrücke und Erfahrungen sammeln.
Ich lerne selbst sehr gerne Sprachen - im Moment Japanisch - und weiß daher, worauf es ankommt!

In my opinion, language learning should be fun. And while learning in a school environment can often be rather stressful, I like to create a comfortable and understanding atmosphere in our lessons.
I will give you as many opportunities to actively talk as possible, incl. games and fun activities! Let us try to talk as much German as possible. Don't worry about mistakes, because as we know from Bob Ross: "There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents."
I believe that anyone can learn a language, so you can learn German, too!

Ich bin der Meinung, guter (Sprach-)Unterricht entsteht vor allem aus einer entspannten Atmosphäre ohne Druck und einer individuellen Themengestaltung. Lernen soll in erster Linie Spaß machen.
Und: "Sprache" kommt von "sprechen"! Deshalb versuche ich, den Unterricht so aktiv und unterhaltsam wie möglich zu gestalten, damit du so viel wie möglich sprechen kannst! Lass uns versuchen, so viel Deutsch wie möglich zu sprechen. Hab keine Angst vor Fehlern, Fehler sind wichtig, Fehler sind gut!
Jeder Mensch kann jede Sprache lernen - davon bin ich überzeugt, und davon werde ich auch dich überzeugen!
