About Dina
I was a Cambridge international student, and chemistry was my biggest challenge during the lower secondary years. I never understood its relevance, and no teacher could explain its practical benefits beyond the classroom. When I sat my first O-level Chemistry exam, I scored a C, which was disappointing given my passion for the sciences. However, everything changed when a new teacher during my re-examination helped me truly grasp the subject. I scored an A* and developed a lasting passion for chemistry, even helping my classmates and discovering a love for teaching.
Now based in London, I hold a distinction in a Master’s of Research in Organic Chemistry: Drug Discovery from UCL and have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. I’m currently on a break from studying for a PGCE in Chemistry at King’s College London.
I have experience teaching Chemistry GCSE (AQA), Chemistry IGCSE (Cambridge and Edexcel), KS3 Science (AQA), and Lower Secondary Science (Cambridge International Education), and I’m dedicated to helping students unlock their potential in chemistry.

You’re about to discover how exciting and accessible chemistry can be. My goal is to help you unlock your full potential in chemistry by connecting abstract concepts to everyday life, building your understanding from the ground up, and tailoring lessons to suit your individual learning style.
You’re encouraged to share your areas of weakness so we can focus on strengthening them together, ensuring the lessons meet your specific needs. My typical lesson length is one hour.
What sets my classes apart is how you’ll be actively engaged, not just a passive listener. Together, we’ll solve problems through discussions, quizzes, exam questions, and past papers, reinforcing each concept before moving on. You’ll develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in using scientific language.
I’m based in London and have a background in pharmacy with a distinction in a Master’s of Research in Organic Chemistry: Drug Discovery from UCL. Currently, I’m studying for a PGCE in Chemistry at King’s College London (on a break). My teaching experience is both internationally and in the UK, covering the following curricula:

What I truly enjoy about teaching, whether in school or private tutoring, is seeing students develop a love for chemistry. Some even go on to pursue it further because how the subject was made both exciting and understandable.
