My Approach to Tutoring: I believe that every student learns differently, so my approach is highly personalised. For Economics, I relate concepts to real-world examples, making the subject more engaging and practical. Lesson Structure: A typical lesson lasts one hour, but I can adjust this based on the student’s needs. I generally follow a clear structure: 1. Recap previous material to reinforce learning. 2. Introduce new concepts with clear, simple explanations. 3. Work through practice questions to build confidence and application skills. 4. Review and summarise key takeaways to ensure understanding. For career coaching sessions, I structure them around CV/cover letter reviews, interview preparation, and case study practice, tailored to the specific role or industry the candidate is targeting. My Qualifications and Experience: I studied Economics at UCL, one of the world’s top universities, and achieved 3 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, and Economics. Professionally, I work as a Consultant at a leading global firm, where I’ve developed strong problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills — all of which I bring into my tutoring. I’ve successfully helped students achieve top grades in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Economics, and I’ve also supported aspiring professionals in securing roles at leading firms with starting salaries of £40K+.
