About Winston Lingga
Fewer than one in ten A-Level Economics students walk out with an A. But, none of them fell short because they weren't clever enough. I believe Economics is usually taught backwards! A pile of disconnected theories to memorise, with no story holding them together. My job is to give you the story back.
Having recently graduated with First-Class Honours from UCL and achieved 3 A*s at A-Level (Economics, Mathematics, and Accounting), I know exactly what it takes to perform when the stakes are highest, and I still remember what it felt like not to know.
My approach turns overwhelming subjects into manageable systems:
1. Chronological intuition. We trace key economic ideas through the moments in history that produced them. When you understand why a theory exists, remembering it becomes effortless.
2. Graph-anchored essays. In a long essay answer, one clear diagram does the work of a thousand words. I will show you how to build every essay around it.
3. Simple language, watertight logic. Examiners reward clarity, not vocabulary. We will practise making arguments so clean they are impossible to misread.
4. Exam-day calm. As a practising Buddhist, I can personally attest to the power of meditation and breathing techniques. Managing panic is a skill like any other, and we will train it alongside the content.
If that sounds like the help you have been looking for, send me a message and tell me where you are stuck.
