About Sephora
I've been tutoring all levels and all ages for just over 5 years, even teaching at times via Skype and email. Not only have I done language tutoring, but I also have experience teaching debate and public speaking, music theory, and piano.
All students that I've taught up at GCSE and A-Level have received an A grade or above, and I always ensure that I am not only prepping the student for the exam, but so that they are able to communicate effectively and confidently outside the classroom.

I was brought up in England, I have a Togolese (francophone) mother, and I have a lot of family in France - I've been exposed to, and love, all three cultures!
During the first session, I like to start with a little basic conversation to evaluate my student's level of French. A lot of the ads on here can be quite intimidating and so I like to let any potential students know that when it comes to French, there's nothing to be afraid of! It's such a gorgeous language that with the right amount of time and effort, anyone can learn!
From my experience, I know how important it is to change the method of teaching depending on who is being taught, how they feel most comfortable learning and what it is they hope to achieve at the end of our sessions.
Are you after a certain grade? Do you want to improve your essay-writing? Are you hoping to find the best way of approaching close-textual analysis?
Regardless of what you are after, I like to incorporate whatever it is that interests the both of us so that we can learn vocabulary in that subject area. This could range from discussing the Fresh Prince of Bel Air to what it is you've done (or not done) during lockdown!
