About Thomas
Hi! I'm originally from London and am currently in my second year studying Astrophysics at Newcastle University. Alongside my degree, music has always been a huge part of my life. I achieved a Grade 8 Distinction in Clarinet and love sharing my passion for music with others.
I enjoy tutoring because it's incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence and achieve things they didn't think were possible. Every summer I volunteer at a music camp, where I work with children of different ages and abilities, helping them develop their musical skills while encouraging creativity and a genuine love of music.
Whether you're picking up the clarinet for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, I'm committed to making lessons enjoyable, supportive, and tailored to your individual goals.

I offer one-hour clarinet lessons for students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners learning the basics to more advanced players developing technique and musicality. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, ability, and learning style. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Whether you're just starting out or refining advanced techniques, I focus on building strong foundations, developing confidence, and making lessons enjoyable while helping you reach your full potential.
