About Jennifer
My name is Jenn. I’m an undergraduate working on my bachelor’s degree in journalism at The University of Texas. I want to be a journalist because I am overall a very curious person. I take interest in many subjects, but my greatest love has to be writing and wordsmithing. It’s like every word is a stroke of paint in a composition, with all their own colors and textures.

My goal is to teach students to write a proper rhetorical essay, the likes of which they’d be asked to write for AP English and Composition, AP Literature and Composition, college admissions, and scholarship awards. A proper essay can open up all sorts of doors for a student. Given that I’m starting with basic 5-paragraph-essay structure, an education of a ninth grade level or equivalent would be recommended, but I am more than willing to work with individual students should they not understand a concept. I do my best to make concepts as clear as possible and try to make subjects personal so students can follow.
