I am new to teaching but have valuable knowledge from A levels and my current studies in university, as well as my previous job working with children in respite care and helping them to complete activities. I have assisted in classes for music workshops during a week's worth of work experience.

I'm a student in my first year of university, who loves writing but also loves helping others learn how to write - and how to love it, too!
I will teach the basic techniques used in story writing, article writing, poetry and scriptwriting and help the student produce a final product they are proud of. I will be selecting extracts from books, poetry and films and initiate discussions on them, then will require either a short written response to the piece or a short creative piece based off/inspired by the original.
Spelling and grammar will be covered while going through your work to improve your writing skills as well as guidance on reading and writing - I promise it won't be too boring!
I am a friendly, patient and driven person. I will do my best to explain things as clearly as I can - and try to bring some fun into the lessons!
