About Ema
Hello, I am Ema Begum. I live in the UK and I am currently a Radiotherapy and Oncology student. Originally from Bangladesh, I studied there before moving to the UK, where I am now a British citizen. I have completed IELTS Academic and an ESOL course, both of which have strengthened my English skills.
As someone who has learnt and adapted to a new language environment myself, I understand the challenges English learners can face. This gives me patience, empathy, and a unique perspective when supporting others in improving their confidence and communication.
In my free time as a student, I enjoy teaching, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning about other cultures. Through this app, I would love to help others practise English in a friendly and supportive way while also making meaningful connections.
