About Sandra

I'm currently an undergraduate student at UC Riverside as a biology major. I took AP Calculus in high school and got a 4 on the AP test. I also work for College Corps as an education fellow, and I tutor K-6 students in English and Math. Aside from that, my friends come to me for help with their math classes!

About the lesson

- Teaching Methods:
My teaching methods are breaking down questions showing every step and working through practice problems
- ⁠A typical lesson plan:
I would start of with examining what the student knows then I would work through a few problems (from homework or practice problem) completely while showing work together. Lastly, I would try to have the student complete the rest of the assignment and help along the way.
- ⁠What sets me apart as a tutor:
I am a college student at UCR who has already completed all of these courses, and I took AP calculus in high school. I can provide insight on what helped me score high in these classes.
- ⁠Who the lessons are for:
The lessons are for anyone needing help in any area of math K-12, including undergraduate students taking beginning calculus classes!
