About Fraser
I'm a 21 year old university student with a passion for literature, who takes pride in sharing that passion with bright young people. English can be an intimidating subject, but I firmly believe that, with the right instruction, even people to whom it doesn't come naturally can excel in it.

Classes will normally centre on an analysis of an unfamiliar extract of prose or verse, aiming to develop students' skills in identifying literary techniques and relating them to the extract's underlying message. In addition, I'm comfortable running sessions on exam technique and general essay writing skills, as well as marking written work.
I previously took on a 3 month position preparing a student for the English Literature papers of scholarship examinations for an elite UK secondary school. To that end, I gave between five and ten hours a week of online classes, as well as marking his responses to past papers and supplementary questions which I wrote myself.
