About Bradley
Hello! My name is Bradley, I have just completed my undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) at the University of Cambridge ranking 6th across the whole cohort. I am currently doing a Masters at Cancer Research UK and am looking to do a PhD in cancer research. I am eager to take on new students as I really enjoy tutoring those who are keen to learn and improve!

I have tutored A-Level Chemistry students for the past two years, both as part of the AQA and OCR B exam boards. These students were able to completely turn their grades around under my supervision. Beginning tuition with me in their second year of A-levels I was able to improve D and U grades obtained in their first year into A's in their final exams.
In previous roles in tutoring I have provided weekly sessions and homework to students that will be marked and returned before the next session. The content of these sessions can involve the teaching of new content or going through practice questions (particularly closer to the exam period). I have typically used a service that records these sessions so students can access them anytime they need for revision.
I have found that a lot of misunderstanding stems from difficult concepts being incompletely explained in classrooms. Thus in some cases I find it best to move slightly beyond the scope of the curriculum to explain particular topics. Not only does this give students a better grasp on the content but also helps with answering more complex 'Suggest' style questions that catch out many students. This is also particularly helpful to those looking to apply for high ranking universities where this additional information and deeper understanding can be valuable for personal statements and interviews.
My approach of course is flexible and can be tailored to students needs and desires.
