About Cheyenne
I am a university graduate and former teachers aid from September 2018-November 2018 where I helped teach students from K-3 and 4-6 in all subjects, especially English. I also used to give private reading lessons eight years ago. These students are very bright themselves, however I like to think that with my guidance they learned a lot more for the few months I was asked to be with each of them separately for English. Other experience I have is working in daycare for a few years where I didn't teach as much but still had a positive impact on mentoring young kids.

I don't limit myself to just one teaching method, I think teaching the way the student learns is more effective than trying to get them to sit through a lecture. My teaching method is pretty simple, just introducing the children to what we will be working on/how to do it, letting them work on it themselves, and then step three will be an assessment where I see what and how much they learned.
I approach the topics by easing into them so my students don't feel too stressed, but also in a fun and exciting way so they are excited to learn what is coming.
