Hi. I am Miss Grace. I care about your progress in speaking Tagalog. You may also let me know your goals so I can adapt my lessons towards them. I was trained by linguists in the Philippines, and have wide classroom experience whether in a full Filipino classroom or a multicultural classroom.

Learning a language takes some time and practice. Tagalog also has a lot of cultural nuances that must be learned. I must note the the formal or bookish Tagalog can be different from what you actually hear in casual conversations.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is primarily lecture and conversation.
Aside from discussing the topics (e.g. grammar/culture/structure), I make sure there are speaking practices.
The lessons are for adults/foreigners/expats wanting to learn Tagalog.
The typical lesson proper usually involves:
--Greetings/Introduction/Kumustahan/Review of Previous Lesson
--Lesson Proper (Listening Competency)
--Question and Answer (Conversation/Speaking Competency)
--Required Task/Practice (Assessment)
