About Soroush
Hi, I’m Soroush, a medical graduate with a genuine passion for teaching and helping students reach their potential. Throughout school and university, I have always enjoyed supporting classmates and mentoring students, which eventually developed into several years of tutoring experience.
Having recently completed medical school, I understand first-hand how demanding academic life can be and how difficult it can be to know where to start when a subject feels overwhelming. I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building their confidence.
My own academic journey has also given me experience beyond the classroom. I have successfully navigated university applications across the Middle East and Europe and have secured postgraduate offers from highly ranked Russell Group universities in the UK. This means I can also offer practical guidance to students thinking about their next academic step.
I take pride in being approachable, reliable, and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, or planning your next academic step, I’m here to help you get there.

I believe the best learning happens when complex topics are broken down into simple, manageable, and engaging chunks. My lessons typically range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, with flexibility depending on the student. I find that shorter, focused sessions help students stay engaged, absorb information, and learn at their own pace.
I have been tutoring for several years, starting as a peer mentor throughout school and university while maintaining Honours-level academic performance. I have experience teaching both medical subjects and IB-level content, with a particular focus on making challenging concepts easy to understand rather than overwhelming students with information.
Beyond academic tutoring, I also have experience navigating university applications across the Middle East and Europe. I can support students with understanding application requirements, identifying what universities look for, and developing strong, authentic personal statements.
I have also secured Master’s offers from Russell Group universities, giving me first-hand experience with competitive postgraduate applications.
My goal is simple: make difficult subjects feel easier, build confidence, and help students become independent learners.
