About Mads
I am a Masters student residing in Scotland, but grew up in a small Danish town. My interests include cinema, travelling, and (in proper Danish fashion) building LEGO. I teach because I am passionate about other languages and cultures. I have been in the UK for several years and also spent a year studying in Mexico, so I have a nuanced worldview and I am sensitive to cultural differences.

I approach my interactions with students as I would any friend or family member: in a stress-free and relaxed environment allowing for casual conversation on any topic. I am very patient and adapt easily to individual student needs. The focus of a lesson can be concrete issues of grammar and pronunciation, or we can simply have a chat about life and culture. My lessons (45-60 minutes long) mainly target adult students who are complete beginners. I have previous experience teaching Danish to such a small group.
