About Lane
Hello! I am an upcoming freshman in university who has been playing Oboe for 3 years. Although I have been playing for a shorter time than my colleagues, many of my teachers have been excited to see how quickly I have been able to excel in music, given my intense passions for learning. During my time, I have played in my regions top student ensembles and played alongside the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra itself. Starting this Fall, I will begin seeking a degree in Music Education, so tutoring is where I would like to begin my out of school studies!

I have a different teaching method than many other teachers, I want to encourage you to play by moving you at the pace you want to move. If you are a beginner to the Oboe, I have a planned study book that I have written myself to help guide new musicians. If you are completely new to music, I will begin with a little bit of background knowledge of how to read music.
