About Thomas John
I am currently a 2nd year physics student who’s been tutoring for the past year. I am adept at teaching people of all abilities, whether it’s a student studying physics at college, who wants to learn the basics enough to pass the subject. Or a student who striving to achieve an A* who wants supplementary course to fine tune there exam technique. I also offer a course catered to students who want to gain more of a general understanding of physics. I cater for all needs. I have achieved A* in maths and physics and an A in Further Maths at A-Level.

My teaching method is dependent on the person needs. If you are student who doesn’t understand a topic, I will work through the topic with you until you are fully able to answer questions on it, feeling confident in doing so. If you are someone who wants more of general understanding of physics then I will start with the core ideas and principles of what physics is, building your understanding of it. This can be both formulaically and discussing general ideas. But most importantly I will modify my teaching style dependent on the needs of my student and what will benefit them most.
