About Elin
I am a second-year History and Politics student at the University of Oxford. I have over 4 years of experience teaching 11+ Tuition and English and Maths up to GCSE level, to both large classes and individuals. I also have over a year of experience teaching ESL to students between the ages of 8 and 15. Additionally, I am able to give personal statement, entrance exam, and interview preparation for university courses relating to History and/or Politics.

My lessons are designed to respond to the wishes and needs of each individual student, whilst remaining academically effective and enjoyable. I am therefore flexible and highly adaptable in my approach to teaching, with experience of teaching students across a range of ages and abilities.
For 11+ tuition, each lesson can focus on all components of the exam - Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning - or on a specific area that a student may need help with. I have experience with teaching 11+ content to large classes, small groups, and individuals.
For ESL tuition, I tailor my lessons to the specific needs of each student. Whether this be a focus on reading, writing, listening, or conversational English (or on improving English in general) I offer a fun and flexible way of learning English as a second language.
