About Isabella
Hello! I'm Isabella, a Politics & Government major with a minor in Law at Sciences Po. I have always been very passionate about learning history and politics, with a particular interest in political thought, constitutional law, and East Asian politics.
Throughout my academic career, I have been involved in research, academic publishing, and student leadership. I currently serve as Editor-in-Chief of the university's Undergraduate Law Review and Co-President of the Asia Pacific Research Circle, where I help oversee student research on contemporary political, legal, and historical issues.
I chose to become a tutor because I know how challenging these subjects can seem at first, particularly when it comes to essay writing, source analysis, and developing strong arguments. Through my own academic journey, I have learned the techniques needed to succeed and enjoy helping students build both confidence and understanding.

My lessons are designed for students looking to strengthen their subject knowledge, improve their essay-writing skills, and build confidence in History and Politics. Whether you are aiming for top grades, struggling with a particular topic, or preparing for examinations, lessons will be tailored to your individual goals and needs.
In History, I help students develop analytical skills, evaluate historical interpretations, and construct clear, evidence-based arguments. In Politics, I focus on helping students understand key political concepts, institutions, ideologies, and current affairs, and on mastering the essay and evaluation techniques required for success.
Lessons are interactive, engaging, and adapted to each student's learning style. I place particular emphasis on exam technique, argument construction, source analysis, and critical thinking, ensuring students not only improve their grades but also develop a deeper understanding of the subjects.
Academically, I achieved three A*S at A-Level in Politics, History and my EPQ, and an A in Economics.
