About Isobel
I remember being genuinely interested in human behaviour and was so excited to be able to study it for my A-levels. However, I quickly found the subject intimidating and difficult. I was overwhelmed by the new key terms, the complex case studies, the statistics and the essay questions. I managed to overcome this by using techniques to break down the difficult topics into clear and manageable explanations and a lot of practice. I am now a Sports Psychology MSc student at the University of Portsmouth on track to reach a distinction and will continue on with a training route to become a chartered sports psychologist!

As a Sports Psychology MSc student, I offer supportive and engaging tutoring for A-level Psychology students. My lessons are designed to help students build a clearer understanding of key topics while also developing the exam skills needed to achieve their best.
I can help with content revision, essay planning, evaluation skills, research methods, exam technique and understanding how to structure answers for different mark questions. I aim to make psychology feel less intimidating and more enjoyable and genuinely interesting.
My approach is friendly, patient and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether a student is preparing for exams, struggling with specific topics, or looking to improve their confidence, I create lessons that focus on both understanding the material and applying it effectively in exam situations.
I want students to leave each session feeling more confident, prepared and capable of reaching their potential in A-level Psychology.
