I believe Darryl is trustworthy and would make a great teacher because of his genuine support and expertise in areas like advanced statistics and Python programming. When I was working on complex concepts, Darryl helped me understand the material in a way that was clear, approachable, and tailored to my needs. He didn’t just give me answers, but encouraged problem-solving and deeper understanding. His patience, ability to explain complex topics simply, and consistent willingness to help are all qualities that make him a trustworthy and effective teacher. He goes beyond just teaching the subject, making sure you feel confident and supported in the learning process.

Me and Darryl met in the first year of university. We became close friends among many people. Together we met hundreds of people and had so many positive experiences. Once we befriended everyone in our residence door by door. That’s in no small part due to Darryl’s exceptional ability to connect to people. As a teacher, he builds rapport with students, so that every student knows he cares. Working with them closely is no different than making a new friend: Darryl is born for it!

I struggle to ask for help, and Darryl always made asking questions or being confused about material easy and comfortable. He is always willing to go above and beyond with his tutoring, as he would help outside of sessions, and spend extra time after our tutoring session if something was still confusing to me. He doesn't have a level of superiority, and it felt like I was discussing concepts with a peer. During one of our sessions, I was super confused about a Java concept, specifically with clean architecture, it usually takes around 15-20 minutes per concept, but he spent around 70 minutes explaining it to me over and over, even though I was super discouraged. Darryl makes our tutoring sessions fun, and I always look forward to them, as he makes every concept interesting and makes me look at studying in a different light.

Darryl was an incredible help in understanding the fundamentals of web design, giving me the knowledge and confidence to work on my personal website. His clear explanations and insights into design principles were invaluable. Additionally, Darryl played a key role in conducting technical interviews for my startup, helping to evaluate candidates effectively and ensure we identified the best talent for our team.
