About Malek

Hello! My name is Malek, and I would love to help you feel more confident speaking French.
French has been an important part of my life from a young age. I completed my secondary and university studies in French and used French daily throughout my professional career in marketing and communication for a multinational company.
Today, I enjoy sharing my knowledge of French with students from different backgrounds and helping them progress in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment.
My students particularly appreciate my patience, my friendly approach and the comfortable atmosphere I create during lessons.
I believe that you learn a language best when you feel comfortable enough to speak, make mistakes and try again — without fear of being judged.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized, practical and interactive.
I don't believe that learning French should mean memorizing endless grammar rules. We will focus on what YOU need and on French that you can actually use in real-life situations.
If you are nervous about speaking French, don't worry. You don't need to be perfect before you start speaking.
My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space where you can practice, make mistakes, ask questions and gradually build your confidence.
Whether you want to learn French for travel, work, everyday communication, your studies, an upcoming exam, or simply because you love the language, I would be happy to help you.
Book a trial lesson with me and let's see how we can make your French better — one conversation at a time!

Perfect! The lesson was well planned.
I was put at ease straight away. I was encouraged to speak French, and the feedback was always positive with constructive criticism where necessary. I felt that here was a person who was really listening to me and making every effort to understand my strengths and weaknesses. I am really, really happy with Malek's tuition and I am looking forward to future lessons.

Malek's response
Strengths:

Dave is a highly motivated, dedicated and hardworking student. He comes to each lesson with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to improve. Since our first lesson, he has made excellent progress in building his confidence and is now much more willing to speak French and form complete sentences. He is curious, asks thoughtful questions, and consistently puts in the effort to learn.

What can he improve?

Like any beginner, Dave can continue to expand his vocabulary and improve his fluency by practising French regularly between lessons. As his confidence grows, I encourage him to speak as much as possible without worrying about making mistakes. With his determination and positive attitude, I am confident he will continue to make excellent progress.

I've been learning French with Malek for several months now, and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

What I particularly appreciate about her teaching is her patience, encouragement and ability to make lessons both enjoyable and productive. She takes the time to explain things clearly, adapts lessons to my level and focuses on practical French that I can use in everyday life. She creates a relaxed and welcoming environment where I feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

One of the most rewarding experiences has been putting what I've learnt into practice during my visits to Brittany. Being able to communicate more confidently with people, navigate everyday situations and build on my conversations in French has been incredibly motivating.

Learning a language takes time, but having such a supportive and dedicated tutor makes all the difference. I'm very grateful for her help and look forward to continuing my progress with her. Highly recommended!
