About Rakshitha
Hello! I’m passionate about biology and science, and I currently work at the intersection of life sciences and creativity in life science marketing. My journey has been filled with challenges, particularly in finding the study methods that truly work for me. Through trial and error, I’ve discovered effective strategies that not only enhance understanding but also make learning enjoyable. I’m excited to share these insights with my students, helping them develop their own successful study habits and fall in love with the subject.
In addition to my professional interests, I enjoy dancing, photography, and traveling. These hobbies inspire my creativity and keep me energized, and I believe they enhance my teaching by allowing me to approach science from various perspectives. I also love playing badminton, which helps me maintain a balanced lifestyle.

As a fun, understanding, and organized tutor, I believe learning should be both effective and enjoyable. I focus on creating an interactive and engaging learning environment where students feel supported. I use a variety of teaching techniques such as creating personalized, easy-to-understand notes and flashcards to help reinforce key concepts and improve memory retention.
Teaching Methodology:

Lesson Structure:
Each lesson typically lasts between 60-90 minutes, providing a balance between in-depth understanding and maintaining engagement. I also incorporate regular quizzes and active recall techniques to solidify knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience:
I hold a distinction in BSc in Biotechnology (Hons) and an MSc in Biotechnology and Enterprise from the University of Manchester.

I offer Biology lessons for students in Grades 6-10, and more advanced Biotechnology-related subjects for Grades 11-12.
