About Zihao
Hi! I'm a passionate and experienced Math and Science tutor who believes that every student has the potential to succeed—they just need the right guidance and support. Over the past few years, I've had the privilege of helping students from Grade 3 to Grade 8 improve their understanding, boost their grades, and most importantly, build confidence in themselves. I specialize in breaking down tricky concepts into simple, relatable ideas that actually stick. Whether you're struggling with fractions, algebra, or scientific principles like energy and ecosystems, I’ll work with you step-by-step in a way that’s both clear and encouraging. What makes my lessons different? I tailor every session to your learning style, using visuals, real-life examples, and lots of patience. I’ve worked with students of all levels—including those with limited access to educational resources—and I take pride in creating a safe, supportive space where you can ask questions freely and grow at your own pace. With me, you’re not just getting a tutor—you’re gaining a cheerleader, a mentor, and a partner in your learning journey. Let’s make math and science something you feel proud of. I look forward to learning with you!

Teaching Methodology & Techniques
I believe in building a strong foundation by connecting abstract concepts to real-world examples. I use a student-centered approach that combines interactive explanations, visual aids, problem-solving exercises, and active recall techniques. I also encourage questions and critical thinking to help students truly understand, not just memorize.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is structured to maximize clarity and engagement:
Warm-up/Review (5–10 min): A short recap or quiz to reinforce previous concepts.
Core Lesson (20–30 min): Introduction of new material through guided instruction, real-life examples, and visual explanations (like diagrams or animations).
Practice Time (15–20 min): Students solve problems with increasing difficulty while I provide hints and support.
Wrap-up (5 min): Review of key takeaways and assigning practice/homework to reinforce learning.
What Sets Me Apart
I have experience working with students of diverse backgrounds, including those with limited access to educational support. I’m patient, adaptable, and great at making complex math and science topics understandable and less intimidating. I also bring creativity into lessons—turning "boring" material into something students actually enjoy.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are ideal for students in Grades 5 to 12 who need support in Mathematics and Science—whether they’re catching up, aiming to excel, or preparing for school exams. I tailor lessons to individual needs, academic levels, and learning styles, making sure every student feels supported and capable of success.
