About Gaelen

Ever since I was in High School I wanted to study organic chemistry, and now as a rising senior in college my skills in the subject have grown immensely. I scored above 100% in both Organic chemistry I and II, and my success as led me to join a organic chemistry research lab focusing on redox-active organic molecules and cancer drug research. Additionally, I have excelled in advanced graduate level organic chemistry courses, all of which I have scored at the top of the class. In the past year I have greatly applied my knowledge in real life laboratory work and have produced impressive results. I now aim to expand my knowledge for the betterment of other aspiring students.

About the lesson

I work directly with students who need help in their chemistry courses. I mostly specialize in organic chemistry, but I also can help college students with first semester general chemistry. A good organic chemistry teacher possesses several key qualities and skills that contribute to effective teaching. Since it is a very conceptually heavy course, adaptability and constant assessments are crucial for proper learning in the subject. My goal is not only to help students with their questions, but also prepare them on how to tackle and approach complex problems. I want to help students as much as possible while also providing a comfortable learning environment. I will always provide fast responses to the best of my abilities and am easily accessible via email and text.
