Kamila and I are long time best friends and we were in the same primary and high school starting from Year 5, and were in classes together in Year 6, 10, and 11. Over the second half of high school, I would see her talking to one of the German teachers at some point during recess or lunchtime and I was surprised to hear how fluent she is in speaking the language. Kamila in our cohort is well known for a strong work ethic in chosen subjects, including German, which makes her a hard-working student when it comes to reading, writing, listening and speaking - especially in learning a second language.

Kamila is a fun and energetic person to be around. She is also very observant and empathetic. Kamila always takes great pride in her knowledge of the German language, and never fails to embody the German spirit.

From pronouncing ‚Eichhörnchen‘, to giving a detailed 10 minute presentation on the importance of turning to renewable energy, Kamila is always adapting her German skills to all themes of concerns within the Deutschen Gemeinschaft.
