About Gabriel

With over a thousand swimmers and a decade of experience, Gabriel is equipped with CPR and Water Safety certifications.

Currently teaching in New York City, including learn-to-swim classes for all ages, beginners-veterans. (Keep in mind) Most lessons are hosted at residential building pools across Manhattan and the Bronx.

His approach is structured and safety-first: every student follows a clear progression — water comfort, floating, breath control, then stroke technique — so the consumer always knows what to expect.

He’s punctual, prepared, and shares brief progress updates after each lesson, so money is well invested.

Whether it's a child putting their face in the water for the first time or an adult working through a lifelong fear of swimming, his goals are the same: safe, confident swimmers, one milestone at a time.

About the lesson

I'm Gabe — a lifeguard and swim instructor in NYC with over 10 years of experience. I teach private lessons at your building's pool, so there's no commute to a swim school or crowded group classes.

Kids learn water safety first, then real strokes, at their pace. I also work with
adults who never learned or are nervous in the water.

Lessons are 1-on-1, 30 minutes, at your pool. $50/lesson, or $270 for a 6-pack.
