About Tim
I've been providing private lessons for over 25 years, while performing professionally for even longer. I don't teach as a hobby as some do. I'm very serious about my students learning correctly, so they can successfully move forward with the instrument.
I'm also a recording artist, with award-winning music which can be heard on my website and Spotify among other places.

I teach every level from complete beginners to much more advanced students, using scales, exercises and performance pieces. I've been performing professionally for many years in many genres, so, although most students follow a classical path, I can also teach other styles, such as Irish fiddling. I have a good sense of humor and try to keep things light while also coaching great fundamentals of posture and form.
