About Rylee
My journey with violin began through admiration for orchestral music, emotional expression, and live performance artistry. This interest inspired me to complete a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance Studies, where I explored interpretation methods, technical refinement, and musical communication in greater depth. During the past 9 years, I have guided students from different backgrounds through lessons that feel motivating, supportive, and creatively inspiring.
I believe every learner deserves lessons that match their confidence level, musical interests, and personal learning style. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, healthy technique, and expressive artistry because every student develops differently. Some learners improve through structured technical practice, while others gain confidence through interpretation and musical exploration. I carefully adapt lessons to create a learning environment where students feel consistently encouraged and motivated.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring chamber music, violin repertoire, and performance traditions to keep my lessons meaningful and engaging. Staying connected to music allows me to bring artistic creativity and practical performance knowledge into lessons. I want students to improve not only technically but also emotionally through stronger confidence and musical connection. Helping learners discover individuality and artistic expression through violin remains one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching experience.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop strong technical control while discovering confidence in musical expression. I teach bow direction, finger accuracy, rhythm balance, tone shaping, vibrato, phrasing, and performance preparation using methods that make learning feel organized and encouraging. Lessons focus on helping students understand how musical technique supports emotional expression instead of relying only on repetitive practice. I create a welcoming atmosphere where learners feel comfortable exploring music and improving steadily through guided support.
Every lesson is personalized according to the learner’s confidence level, musical interests, and long-term goals. Beginners receive patient guidance with posture, hand positioning, rhythm exercises, and open-string practice, while advanced learners strengthen expressive interpretation, technical consistency, and stage preparation. I include listening exercises, scale routines, duet activities, and musical storytelling techniques that help students improve naturally over time. Students preparing for recitals or examinations receive additional support with confidence-building and organized practice methods.
I believe violin becomes more rewarding when students feel emotionally connected to the music they perform. My lessons aim to replace nervousness with confidence through patient explanation and supportive encouragement. Many learners gradually become more expressive, disciplined, and comfortable performing as their understanding improves steadily. My goal is to help students build strong violin foundations while developing creativity and artistic confidence that support lifelong musical growth.
