About Leonor
Hello! My name is Leonor and I am very happy that you are interested in violin. I would love to support your enjoyment of music and your desire to play the violin! In my class we will play a lot together and find the right learning method for you. Because the individuality of each student is the most important and most exciting thing to observe in class for me. I would like to help you and show you how you can take every step to advance yourself. Learning together with you will definitely be fun! We are very welcome to try this with a free first lesson. I study instrumental pedagogy at the UdK and teach at various Berlin music and elementary schools. My professional experience not only includes working in private lessons, but also learning the instrument in a group. Concepts like string classes are a big part of my work as a teacher and I keep trying to specialize in them. This of course influences the dynamics in my teaching methods, because I can see that working together in a group can make the process of instrument learning much easier. I try to get that across in one-to-one lessons, in which I make music a lot with my students and practice together, share ideas and opinions and place a lot of value on improvisation, creativity and wellbeing. I am of the opinion that together with efficiency it leads to success. By taking part in seminars led by renowned professors and educators more often, I have the opportunity to reflect on pedagogical philosophies and constantly expand my own. In addition to my teaching activities, I take part in various orchestras, give concerts at home and abroad and still gain a lot of experience as a chamber musician.
