About Helen
I am a current marketing student in college. I have taught many elementary and high school students different subjects such as math, science, and music. I was in many honor societies during my high school career such as math, social studies, Chinese, tri-m, and business. Many of the high school students improved their grades after receiving tutoring from me. I have been learning how to play the violin since I was in fourth grade. Playing the violin is one of my favorite hobbies and I am still learning new techniques on the violin. My favorite thing about having a music background is that I can listen to a song by ear and then playing it on the violin!

My teaching method is that I always try to come up with different ways to teach because not everyone learns the same way. I am very patient and I teach step by step because I know it is hard to process information in a short amount and time and pressuring the student is not a good way to learn. I teach in a very relaxed environment because students learn best when they are relaxed.
