About Jolie

Hi! My name is Jolie, and I’m a Pre-Pharmacy student at Purdue University with a strong background in math and science. I’ve been tutoring peers since high school and genuinely enjoy helping students feel more confident in subjects they once struggled with.

I specialize in math tutoring, including algebra, problem solving, and general school support. I scored 730 on the SAT Math section and understand that not every student learns the same way, so I always try to adapt my teaching style to the person I’m working with. My goal is to make difficult concepts feel less intimidating and more manageable step by step.

I’m patient, encouraging, and easy to talk to, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without feeling judged. Whether you need help preparing for exams, understanding homework, or improving your confidence in class, I’d love to help support your learning journey. 250 words

About the lesson

I teach by slowing things down and breaking each problem into clear, simple steps. I adjust how I explain things depending on the student, use examples that make sense to them, and focus on building real understanding so they feel more confident over time. I focus on high school students trying to get a perfect score in the SAT math section.
