About Mercedes
Spanish is my third language. My dad never taught me it & his parents (my grandparents) were deaf so ASL is actually my second, my first being English.
I am beyond grateful for all the Spanish my family members gifted me with growing up however, it still hurt when I couldn’t help someone in the grocery store because my Spanish started & ended somewhere. I just want to help others eliminate those same occurrences in their lives or for those littles, prevent them!!!

I come from a Mexican family that speaks Spanish. I love my culture & roots & would love to help someone connect with it too.
I strictly plan to teach Elementary level Spanish. This doesn’t mean our topics will be children-like unless the learner is a child! If you’re an adult, I will plan more age appropriate sessions so you can learn things you’ll actually use.
Ex: if you work in an office, I’ll prioritize basic office phrases within our session(s).
