About Iris
With 9 years of experience teaching singing to school and college students, I am dedicated to helping learners build confidence and improve their vocal abilities. Music has always inspired me, and teaching gives me the opportunity to share that inspiration with others.
Over the years, I have worked with students of different skill levels, from beginners learning their first vocal exercises to students preparing for performances. Watching students improve and gain confidence in their voice is one of the most satisfying parts of my career. Many of my students have gone on to perform in school events, college festivals, and musical programmes after dedicated practice.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation in vocal techniques such as breathing control, pitch training, rhythm awareness, and tone development. These fundamentals help students sing clearly and comfortably. I also believe that learning music should always be enjoyable, so I create a friendly and motivating classroom environment. My aim is to inspire students to discover their unique voice and develop a lasting love for music.

My methodology for teaching singing focuses on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and strong time management to help students progress steadily. I believe that learning to sing should be both structured and enjoyable. I begin by helping students strengthen their voice through breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, and pitch training.
Once the fundamentals are clear, I guide students through song practice to improve tone, expression, and musical interpretation. Creativity is a key part of my classes because it allows students to develop their personal style and perform with confidence.
I also make sure to understand each student’s strengths and challenges so I can offer tailored guidance. Time management ensures that every lesson is productive and balanced. In addition to singing, I can also teach music basics, rhythm skills, and stage confidence.
