About Rick
I have over ten years of industry experience building large websites and applications, most recently as Senior Software Engineer for a large e-commerce conglomerate.
My work at this company and others has generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, and much of my software is still in use today.
As a tutor, I am patient and willing to go the extra mile to help my students gain the knowledge and experience necessary to land a job in web development.

I have been building large websites and applications for companies, large and small, for over 10 years.
In my experience, working with an experienced tutor can be a great way to make incredible improvements in a short amount of time!
My approach starts with patience, as well as a deep and thorough understanding of web development. Having fun and building something tangible and exciting is, in my opinion, also necessary to stay focused and motivated.
Starting with the foundations of website creation and working our way into scripting and database development, my students are soon able to fully understand web development and how large applications are built from the ground up.
This invaluable information and hands-on experience can catapult a student into their career and provide the student with everything they need to land their first job in web development.
I am open to teaching all students age 10 and older, regardless of experience.
