About Janice

I’m a professional artist, writer and creative facilitator with over 20 years of experience in learning and development.

I enjoy helping people without making them feel like they need help.

I’m endlessly curious about human behavior and what motivates us. I love creating a safe, welcoming space where students can bring their ideas, fears and “what ifs” without worrying about being judged.

Together, through painting, poetry and storytelling, we explore, experiment and find creative ways to approach everyday challenges.

Sometimes, all it takes is a little imagination and a very unexpected question to unlock the best there is in life.

About the lesson

Imagine having a conversation with someone who asks, “If delicious had a colour, what would it be?”

Instead of pressuring someone to eat, we invite them to imagine food differently.

“What if your mistake was the best part of the picture?”

Instead of avoiding mistakes, we explore what they could become.

“If your thoughts were objects in a room, which one would you move first?”

Instead of struggling to organise our thoughts, we give them shape and space.

That’s my approach: turning resistance into curiosity through imagination.

Through art, storytelling and creative play, I help children and adults find joy in new experiences, build confidence, practise patience and explore everyday challenges in unexpected ways.
