About María Laura
I'm Laura, I'm 28 years old and I'm from the north of Argentina, a province called Tucumán. I studied English, a little bit of French and Portuguese and I am currently learning Italian. I also even tried to learn Japanese (very difficult haha). I worked for a long time at the Alliance Française in my city as an organizer of cultural events, personal secretary to the director and I was a receptionist too. My experience as a student of so many languages and as an employee of a French institute helped me a lot as a tutor. I learned a lot about class structure and content organization and how to evaluate students. I also love cultural exchange, learning from other cultures and teaching my own. My goal as a teacher is to share all my knowledge with my students and help them to achieve their goals. So… The first lesson is on me. It lasts 30-40min so we can talk about your goals and preferences, how I structure the classes and I also check your level. After that class, I make a plan for you based on the info you gave me. The following classes are 1 hour long. They can be online. I try to keep it simple but interesting so every class is a little different. I like to vary the lessons between oral and written comprehension, oral and written production. My Spanish is from Argentina so it’s a little different from the rest but I teach a neutral Spanish and if you would like to learn the Argentinian version and slang we can add it to the classes.
